Organizational Structure of EH
The central office of Encyclopedia of Hinduism is located on the campus of the University of South Carolina, Columbia South Carolina.
The Chief Editor , Dr. K. L. Seshagiri Rao, and Dr. Hal French, distinguished Professor Emeritus, provide academic leadership to this office. Administrative leadership is provided by Dr. Kaushal K Sinha, Chief Executive Officer and Dr. Carl Evans, Chair, Department of Religious Studies, USC. Prof. Girish Yajnik provides technical support as Director of Systems Operations.
Offices in India
The late Dr. Vidya Niwas Misra was for many years the Editor-in-Charge (India), providing academic leadership for this project out of his office in Varanasi. Dr. Subbarayappa functions as the National Academic Coordinator from Bangalore. The main offices in India are located in Rishikesh and Chennai.
